RYA Safely Boat Course (£350)

We are running a 3-day safety boat course.  This course is recommended for anyone who is carrying out safety boat duties.  It specifically covers towing and rescue techniques for different types of craft and includes positioning of the safety boat in relation to a racecourse/fleet and mark laying too.

At present we only require our members who provide safety cover to hold a Powerboat Level 2 certificate, however, the PB2 course does not include towing rescue of craft/mark laying etc.  We want to encourage our duty helms to complete the safety boat course if possible.
